MAJOR LM HAPUTHANTHRI SLE ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE FIRST COMMANDING OFFICER OF 15(V) SLE
Major LM Haputhanthri SLE assumed duties as the First Commanding Officer of newly raised 15(V) Engineers Regiment on 9 May 2014. A guard turnout was presented to the Commanding Officer by troops of 15(V) SLE on his arrival at the RHQ SLE premises. New Commanding Officer was welcomed by Officers of 15(V) SLE. There after he attended religious activities and lighted traditional oil lamp to ceremonially commence the event. After assuming duties, he attended a tea party organized at the 15(V) SLE office. The event was also attended by the Staff Officers and Other Ranks of RHQ SLE.
