The 18th Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and Additional Director of Project Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex Projects, Major General HRKP Peiris VSV USP ndu made his official visit to Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering on 22nd January 2021.
The Commandant SLSME, Colonel CD Wickramanayake WV RSP warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The visit was followed by the Troop Address. During the address Colonel Commandant emphasised the importance of being protected during Covid 19 pandemic and the importance of Army profession under Covid 19 situation.
Further, The Colonel Commandant highly mentioned about his experience as the instructor of SLSME and also he reminded all officers and Other Ranks who sacrifice their lives to their motherland. Finally a model sailing ship was awarded to Colonel Commandant which was designed by the NVQ wing of SLSME.
