The 18th Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and Additional Director of Project Management Unit of Defence Headquarters Complex Projects, Major General HRKP Peiris VSV USP made his official visit to 11 Field Engineer Regiment on 17th January 2021.
The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcome by the Commanding Officer (Over Looking) of 11 Field Engineer Regiment, Major KKP Pussewala RSP SLE. The visit was followed by Planting of a Sapling, Commanding Officer’s briefing and the Troop Address. During his address Colonel Commandant emphasised the importance of being protected during Covid 19 pandemic and the importance of the being disciplined as soldiers.
Further, The Colonel Commandant highly appreciated the Commanding Officer, All Officers and All Other Rankers of 11 Field Engineer Regiment for their contribution to Nation Building Projects during last year.
This remarkable visit of the Colonel Commandant marked the First visit as The Colonel Commandant.
