MAJOR GENERAL DDUK HETTIARACHCHI RSP USP ndu psc AND MAJOR GENERAL PMR BANDARA WWV USP ndu psc, ACCORDED WITH A GUARD OF HONOUR AT HOME OF SAPPERS
Major General DDUK HETTIARACHCHI RSP USP ndu psc and Major General PMR BANDARA WWV USP ndu psc, more popularly known as \"Darshana\" and \"Rohana\" among their associates, warmly welcomed by the home of Sappers, where both the senior officers were accorded with a Guard of Honour at The Regimental headquarter\'s Parade Ground on 9 March 2015 in honour of their promotion to the rank of Major General.\r\n\r\nBoth the Senior Officers were received by the Centre Commandant, Brigadier Nihal Amarasekara USP at main entrance and were accompanied to the Parade Ground. Maj Gen Darshana Hettiarachchi was firstly accorded with the Gaurd of Honour followed by the Maj Gen Rohana Bandara. \r\n\r\nThe occassion was marked with a Tea Party at the Officers\' Mess where two Chief Guests were greeted by all officers witnessed the occassion. Maj Gen Darshana Hettiarachchi is the Commander 23 Division and the Maj Gen PMR Bandara is the Commander 24 Division. \r\n
