Major General D K S K Dolage USP psc relinquished duties as General Officer Commanding of Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division after completion of six month in the office and highest standard of farewell formalities given him by division including Guard turnout, a colourful guard of honour for outgoing General Officer Commanding. Major General D K S K Dolage USP psc addressed all the troops in the Convention Hall at the Home of Sappers. During his address, he appreciated the contribution given by all ranks in his tenure.
He extended special thanks to Colonel Commandant, Brigade Commanders, Centre Commandant, Staff Officers of Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division, Field Engineer Brigade, Plant Engineer Brigade and Regimental Headquarters, Commanding Officers, and troops who genuine contribution and effort taken to complete to various tasks in highest level of standard. He informed all ranks of the Engineer Division to continue good work with the incoming General Officer Commanding. While he was recalling the memories of process adopted, stressed the value of discipline as military soldiers in on and off duties.
Moreover, he paid gratitude for all militarized and civilian staff in the Engineer Division for their valuable service. The farewell formalities concluded with all ranks tea and farewell street line for extending of best wishes for his new appointment as the Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College and his future endeavours.
