LT COL MAHESH BELIGAHAWATHTHA HANDED OVER THE DUTIES OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER – 14 CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL RADIOLOGICAL NUCLEAR AND EXPLOSIVE RESPONSE REGIMENT

Lieutenant Colonel B M P K Beligahawaththa RSP USP SLE officially handed over the duties of Commanding Officer of the 14 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive Response Regiment SLE. According to the military formalities the Second-in-Command of the Regiment warmly welcomed the outgoing Commanding Officer followed with the Guard Turnout.

Troops of the Regiment awarded a magnificent Battalion Parade to the outgoing Commanding Officer by showing their gratitude and honour. The last troop address has delivered during the parade by the outgoing Commanding Officer.

After signing the official handing over documents of the Commanding Officer, handed over the Regiment Flag to symbolized the handing over of the appointment. Subsequently, outgoing Commanding Officer declared open the newly constructed Lecture Hall and accepted the tea while interacting with all ranks.
