LAUNCHING OF THE CEMENT STOVE PROJECT AT 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Cement Stove project was launched under the patronage of the President of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara on 27 July 2022 at 10 Field Engineer Regiment. The Colonel Commandant – Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Commander – Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General WMGCSB Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu and Mrs. Mallika Wijayasundara were welcomed by the Commanding Officer Major MCS Mallawage Lsc SLE.

The Cement Stove project was introduced as a solution for the LP gas unavailability within the country. The stoves are designed to conserve the heat produced by wood and with the easiness to remove ash produced by the stove
