Inter Regiment Combat Firing Meet-2022

The Inter Regiment Combat Firing Meet 2022, conducted under two categories as open and novices, concluded at the MSTS Diyathalawa from 20th to 30th September 2022 and 10 officers and 10 soldiers were participated to represent the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

In the Open category, sappers showed outstanding performance and following Officers and Senior Non Commission Officer qualified for Army Commander’s Medal with Marksmanship Insignia where Scoring more than 200 Marks out of 250 Marks .

Furthermore, O/10672 Capt R M S S Rathnayake SLE of 4(V) SLE was awarded 2nd runners up in open category under Captain rank Category.

In the novices Category, S/4B02563 S/Sgt Indiaka W D A was won the 3rd place in Staff Sargent/ Sgt rank Category and qualified for the Army Commander’s Medal with Marksmanship Insignia.
