Handing Over USG Grant Equipment to Sri Lanka Corps of Engineers

United States Department of Defence Donated 12x Handheld Detectors (VMR3 Mine Hound) and VMR 3 Mine Hound Spare parts to the Corps of Engineers through USG Grant Equipment project. Equipment were officially hand over to the Major General M K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu by a ceremonial event held at SLAF Base Katunayake on 27 March 2023.

Equipment Handing over ceremony was held with presence of following US Embassy and Office of Defence Cooperation representatives.
