HANDING OVER OF FULLY RENOVATED CIVIL SERVANTS’ ACCOMMODATION BLOCK AT REGIMENTAL CENTRE SLE

Fully renovated Civil Servants’ accommodation block was handed over to Civil Servants on 01 January 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, by Colonel F Joseph USP, the Centre Commandant SLE. This accommodation facility was a long lasting requirement at Regimental Centre, fulfilled with fully renovated and handed over to accommodate Civil Servants serving in the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

This initiative, spearheaded by Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, reflects a steadfast commitment to improving the living standards of Corps members. This accommodation building was renovated within a remarkably short timeframe and underscores the dedication to resolving accommodation challenges faced by Civil Servants.

Civil Servants form an indispensable part of the Regimental Centre, offering behind-the-scenes support that is vital to its daily operations. This accommodation facility not only meets their practical needs but also symbolizes recognition of their invaluable contributions to the Corps.
