HANDING OVER THE DUTIES AS THE 17TH COMMANDING OFFICER – 7 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

Major JC Mapatuna RSP SLE officially handed over the duties of Commanding Officer of the 7 Field Engineer Regiment SLE upon completion of 1 year and 10 months of his illustrious military tenure as the 17th Commanding Officer from 08 July 2022 to 09 May 2024. According to the military formalities the Second-in-Command of the 7 Field Engineer Regiment warmly welcomed the outgoing Commanding Officer followed with the Guard Turnout.

Troops of the Regiment awarded a magnificent Battalion Parade to the outgoing Commanding Officer by showing their gratitude and honor. The troop address has delivered during the parade by the outgoing Commanding Officer and expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him during his tenure. Farewell formalities were culminated by signing of handing over documents followed by an all-ranks tea.
