GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF ENGINEER DIVISION VISITED HEADQUARTERS, GENERAL ENGINEERING BRIGADE

The General Officer Commanding of Engineer Division Major General M K Jayawardena RSP USP ndu made his first official visit to Headquarters, General Engineering Brigade at Kachchigala, Embilipitiya on 26 January 2022.

The General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed at the Brigade Headquarters by the Brigade Commander Brigadier P P A Perera psc Hdmc and all ranks. Thereafter, a briefing on General Engineering Brigade was conducted. Subsequently, General Officer Commanding has visited the progress of renovation of road at Brigade Headquarters. Further, visited the camp premise and inspected the progress of camp construction and emphasized the significance of accommodation and welfare facilities of the other ranks. During the visit General Officer Commanding was intermingled with the others ranks and share the ideas with them.

Finally, the General Officer Commanding was highly appreciated the effort taken by the all ranks of General Engineering Brigade to up lift the infrastructure facilities in the camp premises and the excellent work shown while performing the engineering tasks.
