General Officer Commanding, Engineer Division Major General MK Jayawardena RSP USP ndu Inspected progress of non military projects conducted by 12 Field Engineer Regiment on 24 January 2022. The Visiting General Officer Commanding reviewed the progress and stressed the working teams to make sure professional completion of projects and instructed to improve the administrative arrangements at project sites. Commander General Engineering Brigade Brigadier PPA Perera psc Hdmc, Officers of 12 Field Engineer Regiment and GSO 2 (Plant) General Engineering Brigade accompanied the General Officer Commanding on the field visit.
The General Officer Commanding upon completion the project visited 12 Field Engineer Regiment Headquarters at Pitigala. General Officer Commanding during his visit inspected building facilities of the regiment and pointed out the importance of creating and maintaining proper accommodations and welfare facilities within the regiment to improve welfare of both Officers and Soldiers.
