General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc made his official visit to 11 Field Engineer Regiment at Kovilakkandy on 12th October 2023.
The General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment Lt Col KGCK Kudagamage SLE, all Officers and Other Ranks.
The visit was commenced from Drive pass and followed by Commanding Officer’s briefing on current operational and administration commitment of the unit. Afterwards, planting a sapling and Group photograph was taken in front of Regimental Headquarters. The General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division addressed the Officers and Other Ranks serving at the 11 Field Engineer Regiment and explained his vision for the smooth conduct of duties and civil affairs activities at the 52 Division. Afterwards, The General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division visited to Sangupiddi Road Block and event was concluded with the function at Officers’ Mess.
