EOD LEVEL II COURSE CONDUCTED FOR THE MNDF WAS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

The Graduation Ceremony of EOD Level II course conducted for 27 Other Ranks of MNDF by the instructor team of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, was held on 11 May 2024.

Head of the training team, Lt Col JACS Jagoda psc SLE along with 7 Instructors conducted the course and covered various subjects, including Introduction to Explosives, Demolition, Booby Traps, Small Arms and Explosive Ordnance Recognition, Improvised Explosive Devices Disposal, Search Techniques, and Mine Warfare.

At the end of the course, the Final Exercise ‘Island Thunder’ conducted on three days in order to evaluate the students on practical application and theoretical knowledge with creating realistic scenarios.

The Commander of Southern Area Command of the MNDF, Colonel Mohamed Jamshad graced the Graduation Ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
