ENGINEERS RECEIVED DONATION OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND WATER DISPENSERS

A bulk of face masks, hand sanitizers and water dispensers were donated to the use of the troops and the Officers in the camp as well as those who presently engaging in COVID - 19 duties under the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.

Mrs Padmamali Jayasooriya and her mother Mrs Wimala Jayasooriya sponsored this donation in second annual commemoration of Warrant Officer II Jayasooriya WP (Deceased) belonged to 6 Field Engineer Regiment.

The Centre Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Colonel Mangala Mayadunna received the donation from Mrs Padmamali Jayasooriya and Mrs Wimala Jayasooriya during a brief function held at the Convention Centre premises in the Corps Headquarter on 15 May 2020.

The Centre Commandant conveyed his sincere thanks to the donors and appreciated their decision to assist Officers and soldiers who are struggling to suppress the COVID 19. Deputy Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers, Regimental Sergeant Major together with few more Senior Non Commissioned Officers associate with the event.
