By extending the welfare activities further, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch launched a donation programme for pregnant ladies, collaboration with 14 CBRNE Response Regiment, on 29th June 2024 at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
The programme was conducted under guidance of Mrs. Surangi Amarapala, the President of Seva Vanitha Branch - Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Mrs Chamila Lakmali, the spouse of the Commanding Officer of 14 CBRNE Response Regiment with participation of SLE Seva Vanitha Branch members.
This event was aimed to support for spouses of soldiers who are pregnant and pregnant Female Soldiers by donating of essential daily necessities and items vital for their wellbeing during the pregnancy period.
