CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS BEGINS TO CONSTRUCT A NEW HOLIDAY BUNGALOW FOR OFFICERS AT DIYATALAWA
The foundation stone -laying ceremony of the proposed new officers’ holiday bungalow was held on 6th October 2016 morning amid religious blessings at Diyatalawa.
Military Secretary, Major General N J Walgama RSP VSV USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Maj Gen GDI Karunaratne RSP psc, Maj Gen PMR Bandara WWV USP ndu psc , Brig HJS Gunawardena RSP USP psc, Brig SJMAR Seneviratne RWP USP psc, Brig AN Amarasekara USP, Col AHLG Amarapala psc most of the Commanding Officers, Officers and other ranks attended the occasion.
Chief Guest together with senior officers, officers and other ranks laid the foundation stone amid chanting seth pirith by venerable Buddhist monk.
