CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS BEGINS TO CONSTRUCT A NEW AUDITORIUM AT PANAGODA
The foundation stone -laying ceremony of the proposed new Auditorium at the Regimental Headquarters Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Panagoda was held on 18 May 2016 morning amid religious blessings.\r\n\r\nChief Field Engineer, Major General G D I Karunarathne RSP psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Major General D S Weerasekera USP, Brigadier A N Amarasekara USP, Colonel P Wimalasiri RWP, Colonel D P Jayasinghe RSP, most of the Commanding Officers and other ranks attended the occasion.\r\n\r\nChief guest together with senior officers, officers and other ranks laid the foundation stone amid chanting seth pirith by venerable Buddhist monk.\r\n
