CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEER TROOPS BEGIN DEVELOPMENT WORKS OF SEVERAL SCHOOLS UNDER THE PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVES

Army Engineer troops on the directions of the Chief of Defense Staff and Commander of the Army have undertaken one more school ground development project at Dummalasuriya J.R Jayawardena Central College, following a Presidential directive on 28 July 2020.

11 Field Engineers troops accordingly are currently attending to the repairs of the ground pavilion and the stairs leading to it before revamping of the playground gets underway.

Earlier, 6 Field Engineers and 12 Field Engineers troops commenced playground and stadium development projects of the HangurankethaPoramadulla Central College and DeraniyagalaSiriSaman National School respectively.
