CORPS OF ENGINEERS 62 ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS\r\n\r\n\r\nSeries of religious events were held in connection to the anniversary celebrations of Corps of Engineers. The first event started with Muslim Religious observances on 03 November 2013 at the Mosque in Katharagama was organized by the 8 Field Engineer Regiment. The 11 Field Engineer Regiment organized Hindu religious observances at the Abdul Kaadir Jilani memorial Church, at Katharagama on the same day while the 9 Field Engineer Regiment had organized a Catholic religious ceremony at St. Theresa’s church at Thimbirigasyaya on 05 November 2013. The Seva Vanitha Engineer Regiment Branch organized a Bodhi Pooja on 07 November 2013 at Bodhirajaramaya, Panagoda to bless all Officers and Other Ranks of Sapper Family.
