As per the request made by Sri Lanka Navy, Field Engineer Brigade has commenced the Land mine warfare and Humanitarian de – mining basic module to 5 x Navy Officers and 20 x Other Ranks from 10 May 2021 to 21 May 2021. According to the programme, following areas to be discussed.
• Mine Warfare.
• Humanitarian de-mining process (Manual, MDD, Mechanical).
• IED and Counter IED.
Commander Field Engineer Brigade, Brigadier DP Jayasinghe RSP conducted the opening address on 10 May 2021 in the Field Engineer Brigade lecture hall.
