On Friday, 11th October 2024, Colonel Mangala Balasooriya RSP, the Overlooking Centre Commandant and a representative team from the Regimental Centre SLE, paid a visit to the Army Hospital - Colombo. Representing the Commander Security Forces (West) and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc and overlooking Centre Commandant’s visit was both significant and timely, as it coincided with the Army’s 75th Anniversary celebrations.
The primary purpose of this visit was to personally inquire into the health and well-being of following War Heroes belonging to the esteemed Sappers Family, who are currently receiving treatment at the Army Hospital.

The visit concluded with Overlooking Centre Commandant offering his best wishes for a speedy recovery to the admitted Soldiers, reaffirming the Corps’ pledge to stand by its members during their time of need.
