The Chief Field Engineer of Sri Lanka Army Major General WMGCSB Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu made his official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 16 April 2022.
The Chief Field Engineer was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer Lt Col WKST Kannangara psc SLE and all Ranks of the unit. The events were commenced with the drive pass. Operational tasks such as field engineering, humanitarian demining and plant tasks of 10 Field Engineer Regiment within the SFHQ (J) AOR were briefed by Commanding Officer at conference hall.
Later the Chief Field Engineer addressed the troops and elaborated on the discipline which should be maintained by soldiers for the betterment of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. He further appreciated the standard maintained by 10 Field Engineer Regiment as an unit and the commitment made by the Commanding Officer and troops to achieve that success.
The Chief Field Engineer planted a sapling infront of parade ground to mark his visit and afterwards he participated the all Ranks tea party which was arranged at Sappers’ Mess.
