CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER OFFICIALLY VISIT 11 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General W M G C S B Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu paid an official visit to 11 Field Engineer Regiment on the invitation of Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment Lt Col K K P Pussewala RSP SLE on 18th March 2022.

The visit was commenced from drive pass and followed by a briefing on current Field Engineer tasks, Plant Engineer tasks and Nation Building Tasks by Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment.

The newly constructed Conventional Centre was declared open and foundation stone laid for proposed library complex was done by Chief Field Engineer, Major General W M G C S B Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu.

Afterwards, The Chief Field Engineer addressed the Officers and Other Ranks serving at the 11 Field Engineer Regiment and emphasized that the importance of having a simple life style and serve as a military person. The all ranks tea party was arranged to gathering with Other Ranks as Major General Chandana Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu was the first Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment and raised this regiment in 2007
