BRIGADE COMMANDER OF GENERAL ENGINEERING BRIGADE VISITS TO THE PROJECT SITE OF KURAGALA TEMPLE

The Commander General Engineering Brigade of Sri Lanka Corps of Engineers Brigadier PPA Perera psc Hdmc visited the project location of Kuragala Temple in order to inspect the site to construct a Heli-Pad in the temple premises on 24 November 2021 and 29 November 2021.

Venerable Wathra Kumbure Dhammarathana Thero of Kuragala Temple, Commanding Officer 17 CES Lt Col RS Punchihewa USP CES, Overlooking Commanding Officer 5 Fd SLE Maj MAKRK Abeywickramasinghe RWP RSP SLE, Air force representative Squadron Leader DL Kolambage and Flt Lt MS Iqbal from Rathmalana & Weeravila Air Force bases were present at these occasions. On the first day, initial visit was conducted to select a suitable place to construct the helipad and earmarked three possible site locations and prioritized. On the second day, the most suitable site was selected as per the given priority.
