“Danum Piyasa” the newly constructed library of 9 SLE Camp Kokavil, helps troops to improve their reading habit in the unit line. According to the request made by 9 SLE, Mr Kalana Chandimal Vakishta who is serving in the National Library and Documentation Service Board had arranged a book donation to “Danum Piyasa” Library and delivered them on 11 May 2022. The donation was a great contribution of enhancing the book capacity of the library. As a military establishment, 9 SLE highly appreciated the National Library and Documentation Service Board and its staff for their tiredless commitment on this event. Further, reading a book and improve the reading culture among the troops will help to develop the knowledge of the troops while distracting them from digital screens.
