Closing ceremony of the Basic Humanitarian Demining Course - 43 (03/2023) was ceremonially terminated on 16 August 2023 at the auditorium of Field Engineer Brigade with very brief closing ceremony. This course was held from 27 June 2023 to 16 August 2023 under close supervision of Sri Lanka Army Humanitarian Demining Unit and Commander Field Engineer Brigade, Brigadier DP Jayasinghe RSP. There were 42 students, including 04 Officers and 38 ORs. All the students were qualified to wear Humanitarian Demining badges and awarded certificates after completion of the course successfully.
The event was consisting with Insignias and certificates awarding. Meantime, the concluding remarks were delivered by Brig DP Jayasinghe RSP Commander of Field Engineer Brigade and briefed about the importance of Humanitarian Demining and future employment of deminers to the job vacancies. Finally, he congratulates for their future.
