ASSUMING DUTIES OF THE 10TH COMMANDING OFFICER OF 14 CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL RADIOLOGICAL NUCLEAR AND EXPLOSIVE (CBRNE) RESPONSE REGIMENT SLE

Major M J Salgadu RSP USP SLE, officially assumed duties as the 10th Commanding Officer of the 14 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Response Regiment SLE on 28 March 2024 at the Headquarters of the 14 CBRNE Response Regt SLE, Mattegoda. The formalities commenced with a warm welcome by the Second-in-Command, followed by the guard turnout.

Awarding the salutation of the regiment with the Battalion parade, the newly appointed Commanding Officer addressed the troops under his command. With the blessings of the triple gems, new Commanding Officer marked the inauguration of his office by placing his signature for an official document.

The formalities continued with an all-rank tea session and the symbolically planting of a sapling, marking a new era under the new leadership.
