Major MCS Mallawage Lsc SLE assumed duties as the 8th Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 08 July 2022 with the blessings of clergy.
The Second in Command, Major KWKR Jayasinghe RSP psc SLE welcomed the new Commanding Officer on arrival at the main entrance and the Commanding Officer was presented with a Guard Turnout in keeping with military traditions.
The new Commanding Officer assumed duties amidst blessings of Maha Sangha. He planted a mango sapling to symbolize the occasion. Thereafter, he addressed all Officers and Other Ranks where he briefed his intentions and future plans for 10 Field Engineer Regiment.
