The Annual General Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held on 21 December 2021 at the Convention Centre, Mattegoda. The meeting was presided by the President Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Shiromi Amarasekara.
During the AGM, office bearers were introduced, welcome speech delivered by the president of Seva Vanitha Branch and proceedings were unfolded accordingly. A documentary video highlighting the welfare and social activities conducted in year 2021 was displayed. Further, tasks to be carried out in the current year were reviewed and proposed plan for the upcoming year was discussed.
The AGM was followed by the annual get-together of past presidents and past members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Corps of Engineers. At the beginning, past presidents were given a grand welcome by the Engineers cultural group. After appearing to a group photograph, the events got under way with lively entertainment sessions and raffle draw for Seva Vanitha members. Limited gathering of members of the Seva Vanitha Branch were present at the event.
The programme was held strictly in compliance with the COVID 19 Health guidelines.
