The 8 Field Engineer Regiment proudly celebrated its 27th Anniversary on 03rd December 2023 marking yet another milestone. In celebration of the anniversary, a series of programmes were organized with the participation and directions of the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel NLC Chandrajith RSP SLE.
In keeping with military tradition, the Commanding Officer of the 8 Field Engineer Regiment graced the Anniversary day and was warmly welcomed by the second in command. A Guard Turn Out was accorded prior to the Parade presented by troops of the 8 Field Engineer Regiment and it was followed by the planting of a ‘Na’ sapling and group photograph.
Coinciding with the Anniversary day All Officers and Other Ranks attended the Musical Programme and All Ranks Lunch at OR’s Mess which marked the anniversary day’s proceedings.
