11 Field Engineer Regiment celebrated its 14th Anniversary by organizing series of religious and ceremonial activities during 14, 15 and 16 May 2022 at the 11 Field Engineer Regiment, Nochchiyagama. The entire programme was organized under the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment Lt Col K K P Pussewela RSP SLE.
As the initial programme of the Anniversary celebration, on 14th May 2022 the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment Lt Col K K P Pussewela RSP SLE was accorded with a guard turnout, tribute to war heroes, sapling of plant, troop addressed by Commanding Officer and finally all ranks Tea Party. On 15th May, Bodhi Pooja ceremony was held at Temple premises in line with the Vesak Full Moon Poya day.
The celebration of 14th anniversary of 11 Field Engineer Regiment was come to an end by provided a breakfast to the elderly home “Supasahan Wishramika Sada Sewana” which is located at Bulnawa.
