Thurstan College - Colombo, organized its prestigious Education and Innovation Exhibition – “Knightro 2025” from 28 to 30 August 2025, bringing together knowledge, creativity, and national services under one platform. At the special request made through the Ministry of Defence (MOD), the Sri Lanka Army actively contributed to the exhibition, highlighting its role in strengthening national security and public awareness.
Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army and the Chief Field Engineer, the 14 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) Regiment established a dedicated stall to demonstrate modern Bomb Disposal, CBRN detection, and response equipment. The display aimed at educating students, teachers, and the general public on the importance of preparedness against emerging security threats.
