Celebrating the "World Children's Day" 12 Field Engineer Regiment offered lunch for 38 children studying at Halwalkele Primary School Meegahathenna on 30 September 2022 and Don Bosco Children Home Maggona on 01 October 2022. Halwalkele primary school is remotely located school with less facilities available. A worthy gift parcels were also presented to each student attended the event.
The programme was organised under the guidance of the Commander, 612 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Bandula Kariyawasam, Troops of 12 Field Engineer Regiment, along with Mr Loku Balasooriya the civilian donor who extended the generous donation were presented at the event.
