The Centre Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Brigadier MPK Madurapperuma RSP USP psc visit to the 12 Field Engineer Regiment on 18 May 2023. The Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of the 12 Field Engineer Regiment Lieutenant Colonel DGEMRB Dhammanthota psc SLE, all Officers and Other Ranks.
The days programme included drive pass, reception of the Centre Commandant, unit briefing, troop address, camp visit and inspect unit admin.
The visiting Center Commandant appreciated and commended the hard work and the dedicated service rendered by the Sapper troops during last few years and illustrate the importance of career progression and military disciplines that every sapper Officer and soldier must follow.
In addition, during the administration inspection Centre Commandant emphasis the value of security, administration, and logistic matters pertaining to units. All officers and Other Ranks were presented at the event.
