12 Field Engineer Regiment launched another welfare gesture by donating a wheelchair to differently able child in general area Thiniyawala.
On Sunday (11), Lieutenant Colonel DGEMRB Dhammanthota psc SLE, Commanding officer of 12 Field Engineer Regiment went to his house with the new wheelchair and handed over it to the beneficiary. The recipient thanked Sri Lanka Army for considerateness and the great humanitarian gesture.
The cost of wheelchair was sponsored by Mrs. Inoka Pitakotte and the sponsor was coordinated by Lieutenant Colonel KANPK Kodithuwakku psc SLE 8th Commanding officer of 12 Field Engineer Regiment.
