12 Field Engineer Regiment organized a donation programme to distribute 100 dry ration packs among needy families in Mathugama DS Division area. Needy families received Rs.5,000 worth dry rations. The donations were awarded by ‘Sri Sathya Sai’ Foundation, Sri Lanka.
Distributions of dry ration packs were held at Sri Sarananda Aranya, Welipanna on 28 June 2022. Beneficiaries have been selected by the Mathugama DS office. Dry ration packs included rice, sugar, flour and dhal. Officers and Other Ranks of 12 Field Engineer Regiment, DS Mathugama and respective Grama Niladhari of the areas were presented at the event.
