12 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT ACHIEVE FIRST PLACE AT THE WANNI INNOVATIONS 2015
Coinciding with the 17th anniversary of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), Innovation 2015 had been organized to elicit the innovative technical abilities of the Officers and ORs in the SFHQ AOR. This exhibition took place at Municipal Ground Vavuniya from 20th Nov to 23rd Nov 2015. \r\n At the exhibition 12 Field Engineer Regiment was introduced a vegetable cutting machine which can be used to cut leaves and any vegetable which became \"First place\" at the exhibition out of 44 innovated items displayed at the function. The significance of this machine was it can cut any leaves/vegetable as per the users requirement in any style with less man power at a short period of time.\r\n The machine operates with 220w to 250w electric motor and it supplies power for the rotating blades. These blades can be adjusted according to the users requirement and vegetables /Leaves could separated as per the users style.\r\n
