11 Field Engineer Regiment New Library was opened by Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers

The Sappers’ Library “දැනුම් සයුර” of 11 Field Engineer Regiment was declared to open by Major General WMGCSB Wijayasundara RSP USP ndu, the Commander Security Forces Jaffna and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on the invitation of Lieutenant Colonel KKP Pussewala RSP SLE, the Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment on 10 September 2022. Officers and Other Rankers of 11 Field Engineer Regiment were participated for the opening ceremony.

“දැනුම් සයුර” was aimed to inculcate the reading habit among officers and soldiers. The new library building provides reading facilities to more than 20 heads per at a time, internet facilities and area to read news papers.
