Under the guidance of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, a welfare initiative was held on 31st December 2024 at the 10 Field Engineer Regiment, led by Major R R I Rodrigo psc SLE, the Overlooking Commanding Officer. The program aimed to support soldiers’ families and civilian staff by addressing educational needs and providing essential aids.
Dry rations and stationery were distributed to deserving families, reflecting the regiment’s commitment to welfare. The event was attended by senior officers and the spouse of Captain P M Ihalavithana SLE, highlighting collective support for the initiative.
