THE 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT CELEBRATES 74TH NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE WITH PRIDE

10 Field Engineer Regiment celebrated the 74th National Independence with glamour and grace. Along with the presence of the Commanding Officer Lt Col WKST Kannangara psc SLE, all Officers and other ranks of the Regiment. The unit has planted hundred saplings to symbolize the occasion of Independence Day as a gesture of goodwill and in commemoration of fallen National Heroes of Sri Lanka.

The Commanding Officer addressed the troops and highlighted the dedication and the sacrifice of fallen heroes on achieving the independence to our country. Also, the responsibility of us as the armed personals in the present day of Sri Lanka.

Further, he highlighted the importance of maintaining combat efficiency and advised to be trained for any eventualities in order to ensure the readiness of troops. The programme was conducted in compliance with the COVID 19 health guidelines.
