1 FIELD ENGINEERS BECOME THE CHAMPION AT THE INTER REGIMENT VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT - 2017
1 Field Engineer Regiment crowned as the champion in the Inter Regiment Volleyball tournament which was held at Panagoda on 17 October 2017. The first round matches were held from 25 to 27 September 2017 with the participation of nine Regiments where 1 Filed Engineer Regiment and 4 (V) Regiment competed for the championship in the final. Brigadier EN Ramanayake RSP graced the occasion as the day’s Chief Guest.Following players were awarded for their best performances in the final.\r\n\r\nBest Player – L/Cpl Shyminda SPS – 1 Field Engineer Regiment\r\nBest Setter – L/Cpl Rajapakshe LS - 1 Field Engineer Regiment\r\nBest Attacker –Spr Udayanga JSAR – 4 (V) Engineer Regiment\r\n\r\nThe Centre Commandant and many Senior Officers, Officers witnessed the Event. \r\n
