1 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT CONDUCTED CORPORAL TO SERGEANT PROMOTION COURSE FOR YEAR 01/2023 SUCCESSFULLY TERMINATED

As per the direction of Regimental Centre of Corps of Engineers, 1 Field Engineer Regiment has conducted Corporal to Sergeant Course from 17 April 2023 to 22 May 2023 with the participation of 48 NCOs.

This promotion course was covered the following main subjects.

a. Basic Tactics.

b. Internal Security.

c. Map Reading.

d. Counter Insurgency Operations

e. Physical Fitness training

f. Weapon Training

g. Military Communication

h. Drill

At the end of the course following NCOs secured the first three order of merit as per the performance of the course.

2. S/245895 Corporal Harsha Kumara BDP - 6 SLE

3. S/247260 Corporal Hapuarachchi DTC - 14 CBRN

All the participants successfully completed the course.
