In accordance with military traditions, the Adjutant General of The Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc was accorded a Guard Turnout upon his arrival and a colourful Regimental Parade on 21 April 2025 at the Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery Parade Ground as the most important event in 137th Anniversary celebrations.

An overnight Pirith Chanting ceremony was held in the evening on 19 April 2025, in line with the 137th Regimental Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony. The event was concluded with the offering of “Heel Dana” to Maha Sanga on 20 April 2025 morning where the religious blessings were invoked on the heroic Gunners who paid the supreme sacrifice.
