The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers conducted a donation programme to distribute dry ration packs among flood-affected families in the General Area of Salamulla, Kolonnawa on Wednesday, 10 December 2025.

This humanitarian initiative was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Lilanthi Dolage, President of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch, with the objective of supporting families who faced severe hardship due to adverse weather conditions and flooding. The timely initiative served as a gesture of solidarity and care for civilians struggling to recover from the impact of the disaster, providing them with essential food items to meet their immediate daily needs. The programme reflected the spirit of compassion and social responsibility upheld by the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch.

Through this effort, the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers once again reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening its enduring bond with the public during times of need.
