The Regimental Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess Dinner Night, held on 11 November, and the All Ranks Get-Together, held on 14 November, marked the proud celebration of the 74th Anniversary of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers with dignity, camaraderie, and festive spirit.
Major General D K S K Dolage USP nps psc, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, graced the Anniversary Dinner at the Regimental WOs’ & Sgts’ Mess as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by WO I P P Shantha Kumara USP, the Regimental Sergeant Major, amidst traditional military courtesy and regimental pride.
The evening featured a dignified ceremonial atmosphere, fostering fellowship among senior ranks while reflecting on the Corps’ proud legacy and traditions.
The All Ranks Get-Together, held at Home of Sappers, Mattegoda, brought all ranks together in a vibrant setting filled with music, entertainment and joyful fellowship. The event strengthened unity and morale across all ranks, creating a memorable conclusion to the 74th anniversary celebrations.
Both events showcased the unwavering esprit de corps and the rich traditions of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers as it proudly steps into its 74th year of excellence and service to the nation.
