SAPPERS SHINE AT ARMY INTER REGIMENT JUDO CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

The Army Inter Regiment Judo Championship 2025 was held from 04 to 06 November 2025 at the Gymnasium of the Army Physical Training School, Panagoda. The event brought together skilled Judo players from various regiments across the Army, showcasing talent, discipline and determination on the mat.

Seventeen male and female Judo players represented the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, demonstrating exceptional performance and true Sapper spirit throughout the championship. The Sappers Women’s Judo Team displayed remarkable strength and teamwork to secure the Overall Runners-up position, marking another proud achievement for the Corps.

Sapper Judo players performed outstandingly in both men’s and women’s categories, achieving several podium finishes as follows:
