The Chief Field Engineer of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu made his first official visit to 4(V) Engineer Regiment on 24 January 2023 after assuming duties as the Colonel Commandant Of Corps Of Sri Lanka Engineers.
The Chief Field Engineer of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was warmly welcomed by the CO 4(V) SLE and all Offrs and ORs of the unit. The event commenced with the drive pass and thereafter CO 4(V) SLE conducted a briefing to the Colonel Commandant regarding operational commitments and the administration matters of unit. Thereafter the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops of the unit.
Afterwards the Colonel Commandant inspected the camp premises and attended for the tea party arranged at the NCOs club. The visit of the Chief Field Engineer and the Colonel Commandant Maj Gen MK Jayawardhena RSP VSV USP ndu was terminated at 1330 hrs after keeping greetings on visitors’ book of Officers’ Mess.
