TROOPS OF 11 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT COMPLETE BATTALION TRAINING COURSE

The Battalion Training Course No-01 of the 11 Field Engineer Regiment after shifting to the Infantry Role got underway with 10 Officers and 307 Other Ranks at the Battalion Training School in Mulankavil from 06 January 2025 to 03 March 2025.

The curriculum of the course included lectures and practical sessions on military training modules including shooting, civil-military co-operation, experiences humanitarian operations and the course ended in an awarding ceremony.

Major General V D S Perera, the General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division- Jaffna, delivered closing remarks and gave away incentives.

Commanders of 522 and 523 Infantry Brigades, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated for the closing address. During the awarding ceremony, the following Other Ranks were awarded trophies:
